ISLAMABAD: The Accountability court has accepted the Supplementary reference and over ruled the objections made by Nawaz Sharif.
Furthermore, the court has summoned five witnesses of the defendent.
Earlier today, the Sharifs family appeared before the National Accountability Court (NAB) today, regarding Supplementary references against them.
NAB reserved verdict on Avenfield references in today’s hearing held by Judge Mohammad Bashir.
The accountability court charged Nawaz Sharif, his daughter Maryam Nawaz and son-in-law Captain(R) Safdar in three corruption references, filed in September 2017 for Panama Papers Case.
According to Nawaz Sharif’s Lawyer Khwaja Haris, “The references filed by JIT had nothing new, neither their submission prove any genuine reason.”
However, the next hearing has been adjourned till 6th February.
