NAB summons Imran Khan in Helicopter misuse probe

Peshawar: National Accountability Bureau (NAB) Peshawar on Thursday has summoned Chairman Pakistan Tehreek e Insaf Imran Khan next week to probe alleged misuse of Khyber Pakhtunkhuwa government’s helicopter.

NAB has issued notice to PTI Chairman ordered him to appear before NAB officials in Peshawar on 18th July to inquire the case regarding the use of KP government’s chopper for personal use  which costs the exchequer around 2.1 million.

In Feburary, NAB Chairman Justice (R) Javed Iqbal directed Director General of NAB Khyber PakhtunKhuwa to lodged an inquiry against Imran Khan and then Chief minister Pervez Khattak for the misuse of provincial  government’s helicopters.

The anti graft body of NAB had earlier also summoned the former CM KP Pervez Khattak in that case.
