Naqeeb Murder Case: Investigation findings prove encounter as ‘fake’

KARACHI: Naqeeb Ullah Mehsud’s murder case was heard in the ATC court’s Karachi registry today.


Prime suspect Rao Anwar and others were produced before the court and a report was also produced regarding recent developments in the case and those absconding the proceedings, reported NewsOne.

The challan of the ‘fake encounter’ was produced in the previous hearing of the case.

The Challan shows Rao Anwar and DSP Qamar Ahmed as detainees.

The case was registered under the supervision of SP investigations, Abid Qaimkhani.

The challan puts the burden of blame on the suspected party, Rao Anwar and his cronies murdered Naqeeb in a fake encounter which has been proven as such after thorough investigations.

28 witnesses have testified against the suspects and the claimants of the FIR are Naqeeb’s Family and SSP central.

While speaking to the media after the hearing, investigating Officer SSP Dr Rizwan said that those absconding in the case will be arrested soon.

On Friday, police had submitted interim charge sheets against Anwar and others to the ATC in a case pertaining to foisting weapons and explosives upon Mehsud and three other victims.
