Naqeebullah case: Jirga concludes protest staged at Sohrab goth 

KARACHI: Jirga organizers announced to end their protest camp at Sohrab Goth on Wednesday, which was set up after extra-judicial killing of Naqeebullah Mehsud.


According to NewsOne, the jirga ended their protest after Sindh IGP AD Khwaja had assured them of taken the case to a logical end.

Jirga participants warned that they would stage sit-in in front of the Bilawal House Karachi, if their demands were not accepted.

On Monday, the Sindh government formally suspended District Malir former SSP Rao Anwaar and SP Muhammad Altaf Sarwar Malik, Investigation East-II,and issued a notification. According to the notification, issued by the Sindh Chief Secretary Rizwan Memon, Anwar Ahmed Khan alias Rao Anwaar, and SP Muhammad Altaf Sarwar Malik, Investigation East-II, were placed under suspension on the directives of Sindh Chief Minister Murad Ali Shah.
