LAHORE: On Wednesday, former prime minister Nawaz Sharif claimed that the narrative of Pakistan Muslim League(Nawaz) is finding place in the people’s heart.
An apparent referral to the recent by-polls elections in Lodhran where PML(N) thrashed Pakistan Tehreek-e-e Insaf snatching their seat, which is counted as a set back for PTI before general elections, scheduled in mid July.
Talking to the media after expressing his condolences to Mufti Raghib Naeemi on the demise of his grandmother, Nawaz said that he will take the issue of respect of the vote to every corner of the country, adding that the country can only progress if it starts respecting the mandate of people.
He asserted that sanctity of the vote would be respected.
Since the ouster by Supreme Court of Pakistan in Panama Paper Case, Nawaz Sharif is persistent in his reiterated slogan, wherever he goes ” Mujhe Q Nikala” ( Why I am ousted) along with giving impressions that he is being victimised through “fake cases” made against him.
