Nasser Khan Janjua to fly Kabul today, will hold talks with Afghan officials

ISLAMABAD: Nasser Khan Janjua, who is a National Security Adviser,will  fly to Kabul today to hold talks with Afghan official Haneef Atmar on bilateral relations and regional security issues, NewsOne reported.


 Janjua will also meet Afghan President Ashraf Ghani,  and NDS Chief during the one-day important visit, on the invitation Afghan National Security Adviser Haneef Atmar.

On February 3, Pakistan’s Foreign Secretary Tehmina Janjua, while addressing the Afghanistan-Pakistan Action Plan for Solidarity (APAPS) in Kabul,  asserted that Islamabad and Kabul instead of blame game should engage in concrete cooperation.

FO spokesperson, Dr Mohammad Faisal confirmed the meeting and said Pakistan had proposed five joint working groups, focusing on comprehensive engagement for countering terrorism, intelligence sharing, military, economy, trade and transit interaction, refugee repatriation and connectivity.
