NAWABSHAH: Pakistan People’s Party co-chairman Asif Ali Zardari said on Saturday that PPP accepted 2013 election results just because to protect democracy.
“I tried to save Nawaz time and again but he never mend ways,” said PPP co-chairman while addressing media with PPP leader Amir Hasan in Nawabshah.
He said that ruling government has bankrupt the country now it’s time to take accountability from them, adding that RO’s election stopped PPP from win in 2013 general elections.
While taking a jibe at Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) chief Imran Khan he said that Tsunami started its journey from Karachi but ended in KPK.
“Imran also did nothing in Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa (KPK) during five years,” he added.
Zardari stated that PPP would battle Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz in general election 2018.
On Wednesday PPP Co-Chairman Asif Ali Zardari addressing party workers in Garhi Khuda Buksh on the 39th death anniversary of party founder and former prime minister Zulfikar Ali Bhutto alleged that ruling party had spent millions to win a seat from Lahore.
He said that the former prime minister Nawaz Sharif won ‘RO Elections’.
“Nawaz tried to create rift in PPP by naming Raza Rabbani as Senate chairman, will make alliance with other parties to form government but not with PML-N,” said Zardari.
Asif Ali Zardari said that PPP will remain at war with ruling party PML-N.
