Newly-formed Punjab Cabinet will take oath today

LAHORE: The newly-formed 23-member Punjab Cabinet will swear in at Governor House here on Monday evening.


The Acting Punjab Governor Pervez Elahi will administer oath to the newly-approved members of Punjab Cabinet.

The swearing-in ceremony is slated to begin at 5pm, which will be attended by Punjab Chief Minister Sardar Usman Buzdar and other prominent dignitaries.

The PTI-led government announced a 23-member Punjab cabinet on Sunday, after a consultation meeting presided by Prime Minister Imran Khan held at Bani Gala.

The listicle containing names along with portfolio was later uploaded on Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaaf official social media account.


The list also includes 5 ministers without mentioning any portfolio: Muhammad Sabtain Khan, Asif Nikai, Ammar Yasir, Malik Nouman Langria, Hussain Dareshak, Chaudhry Zaheeruddin, Malik Muhammed Anwer and Hashim Dogar.

The Balochistan cabinet will aslo sworn in at 4pm today,and Governor Mohammad Khan Achakzai will administer oath to the cabinet members.
