ISLAMABAD: Disgruntled leader of Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz (PML-N) Chaudhary Nisar Ali Khan on Sunday has said that he advised former prime minister Nawaz Sharif several times to tell truth to nation over Panamagate scandal.
“I told Nawaz to stop criticism against state intuitions as there will be no use of it,” said former interior minister Chaudhary Nisar while addressing a public gathering in Hasan Abdal on Sunday.
Nisar said that he never requested PML-N is his entire political career to grant him ticket for contesting election, adding that Imran has offered him PTI ticket several times.
“I was asked to appear before party’s parliamentary board for ticket. PML-N is no more a visionary party,” he added.
Nisar said he always worked for the welfare of the people, and never set up any business interests, or favoured anyone, adding that he was loyal with Nawaz Sharif for more than about 34 years.
“When did I speak against the party? When did I not stand with the PML-N?” said the disgruntled PML-N leader.
He further added that now he has taken a separate path from the PML-N and there is no going back.
