No date fixed for Foreign Secretaries level talks: FO

Pakistan has reiterated that Kashmir issue should be resolved in accordance with the UN resolutions and aspirations of the Kashmiri people.


This was stated by Foreign Office Spokesman Qazi Khalilullah during his weekly news briefing in Islamabad on Thursday.

The Spokesman said that Kashmir Solidarity Day being observed tomorrow necessitated that the dispute should be resolved at the earliest.

He said Pakistan always condemned gross human rights violations by Indian forces in occupied Kashmir.

To a question, Qazi Khalilullah said no date has yet been fixed for Foreign Secretaries level talks between Pakistan and India.
