No other child should die because of Bilawal, late Bisma’s father says

KARACHI: The father of 10-month-old Bismah on Wednesday said Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari and other rulers should be careful and that no other child should die because of them.

Talking exclusively to NewsONE, Bisma’s father said the police stopped them from going forward which led to the death of their child.

The bereaved father said Bilawal and other leaders should be careful in future so that no other child has to die for them.

Meanwhile, there’s an atmosphere of mourning in Gabol Park Lyari area in Karachi. The people in the neighbourhood say several lives have lost because of the police.

A 10-month-old child died apparently as a result of not receiving timely medical treatment due to the security protocol of Sindh Chief Minister Qaim Ali Shah and PPP chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari, who were present inside the civil hospital for inauguration of trauma center.

Police had barred patients and their family members from entering the hospital due to strict security for the PPP leaders.

The baby‘s father, Faisal, a resident of Lyari area has alleged that he was unable to bring the child to the hospital in time due to strict security protocol around the hospital.

“Doctors said that life of child could have been saved if she was brought to the hospital ten minutes earlier,” the wailing father told media outside the hospital.

Meanwhile, CM Sindh Qaim Ali Shah completely ignored reporters‘questions regarding child‘s death.

“This is the biggest project in Pakistan. This trauma center is a gift from Asif Ali Zardari and Bilawal Zardari for the people of Karachi,” the Chief Minister told media.
