ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Interior Minister Ahsan Iqbal said that Pakistan had made the most efforts to combat terrorism. “We are taking steps not to please the US but four our own benefit. We will follow our own agenda to achieve national goals.”
He was referring to the latest Financial Action Task Force decision for deferring the matter related to Pakistan’s placement in grey list countries that allegedly sponsor terrorism.
He added that the matter has been delayed till June, saying that Pakistan with all these sanctions before performed better in economic wise.
