
ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Imran Khan said on Thursday that Pakistan progressed in the past due to economic progress ushered in by the industrial sector.

The premier was addressing a ceremony in the capital, where he said that for the progress of the country, the education system needs to be overhauled.
The current government began a programme to end poverty, despite economic woes, he said.
PM Khan added, The Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) government initiated the ‘Ehsas programme’ to help eliminate poverty.
