Pakistan suspends intelligence sharing information following Aid suspension By US: Khurram Dastgir

ISLAMABAD: Pakistan’s Defence Minister Khurram Dastgir has announced that Pakistan has suspended intelligence sharing with the U.S, adding that Pakistan would continue its peace efforts in the region.

The decision by the government came after suspension of U.S. aid to Pakistan, following Trump’s hostile tweet against Pakistan for “lying, Decit” to U.S for years.

United States has withdrawn $255 Millions a due on U.S. which it had to pay Pakistan; a share of Islamabad in Coalition fund programme for fighting the war against terror.

In the recent past intelligence sharing between Pakistan and United States of America was useful as the later intercepted the Canadian-American couple in Pak -Afghan border, followed by timely action by Pak Armed forces hence earning praises from Donald Trump, the President of United States
