
Pakistan supported the United Nation’s dismissal of Indian allegations against the UN report published over Human rights violence in Kashmir.

Foreign Office Spokesman Dr.Faisal in his tweets on Wednesday supported UN stance of dismissing New Delhi’s reservations on the report as they called it ‘fallacious and ‘malafide’.

He said that India failed to address the serious Human rights issues raised by the report.

He added that the Office of the High commission on Human Rights (OHCHR) had gathered information and quoted from official Indian sources which includes Indian parliament, Supreme Court and Ministry of External Affairs.

He also accused India of distracting focus on Human Rights violation in Indian held Kashmir by Indian Security Forces as mentioned in the report.

In his tweet FO spokesperson also welcomed the visit by the commission of inquiry set up by UN to both part of Kashmir, Indian held Kashmir and Azad Jammu Kashmir to address the Human Rights violations.

It is pertinent to mention here on June 14, the Office of the United Nations’ High Commissioner for Human Rights released a first of its kind report documenting alleged human rights violations in Kashmir. Whereas Indian Ministry of External affairs rejected the report and called it motivated ,fallacious and Pakistan-authored report
