Paragon Housing case: Khawaja brothers’ remand extended till September 28

LAHORE: An accountability court on Monday extended the judicial remand of Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) leaders Khawaja Saad Rafique and his brother, Khawaja Salman Rafique, till September 28 in the Paragon housing case.

Both the accused were presented before the court by the National Accountability Bureau (NAB) team following the conclusion of their earlier remand.

On July 16, the accountability court fixed August 18 as the date to indict the Khawaja brothers.

On December 11, the anti-graft body arrested Saad Rafique and his brother, after the Lahore High Court (LHC) rejected their request for an extension in their pre-arrest bail in the case pertaining to the Paragon Housing scam.
