PM Imran heads NSC meeting, discusses implementation of NAP

ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister of Pakistan, Imran Khan on Wednesday chaired a meeting of the National Security Committee (NSC), which was also attended by federal ministers and services chiefs of the armed forces.


Matters pertaining to the security situation at the Pakistan-Afghanistan border were discussed during the National Security Committee meeting, which was also attended by officials of intelligence agencies, said the sources

Moreover, matters relating to the country’s internal and external security situation also came under discussion, while the participants also discussed progress on the implementation of the National Action Plan (NAP).

Earlier, Prime Minister Imran Khan also had a separate meeting with Chief of Army Staff General Qamar Javed Bajwa where the two discussed matters relating to national security.
