ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Imran Khan inaugurated on Tuesday Railway live-tracking service and Thal Express train service.
Addressing a ceremony after inaugurating the Railway Live Tracking System and Thal Express in Islamabad, PM said that uplift of the trains system of Pakistan Railways will be taken with the cooperation of China.
The Prime Minister lamented that in previous governments policies were designed to benefit the elite class only.
Khan said under Railways Main Line-1 (ML1) project, people would be able to travel from Peshawar to Karachi in eight hours.
The life of a common man should be easy in Naya Pakistan, he stated.
The PM asked Federal Minister for Railways Sheikh Rasheed to send corruption cases to the National Accountability Bureau.
Earlier, Minister for Railways Sheikh Rashid Ahmad said Thal Express will connect Rawalpindi to Multan.
The Minister annunced to launch twenty more trains this year.
