PM Imran Khan asks India to do trade instead of War

BAJAUR AGENCY: Prime Minister Imran Khan on Friday said India should do trade with Pakistan instead of engaging in war while also mentioning that Pakistan’s desire of peace should not be perceived as nation’s weakness.

He was speaking to a large gathering at Bajaur Agency where he said that a certain political party of India want to win the upcoming elections by spreading hatred. “By the grace of God Pak Air Force timely defended the nation,” says PM, “we want peace not war.”

PM said that cruelties of India against people of Indian-occupied Kashmir (IoK) are witnessed by the whole world. “I salute people of IoK on their bravery,” premier said.

He said he was trying to visit the tribal areas for a while but was not able to due to the difficult circumstances facing the region. “We all know that war harmed the tribal areas, forcing residents to migrate,” PM said, “now the tribal people has left those difficult times behind.”

Earlier today, the premier visited Mahmond for the launching of Sehat Insaf Card scheme and revealed his intention to develop the tribal areas, while promising to provide more education and more employment opportunities for the tribal youth.

PM said that the unification of Federally Administered Tribal Areas with Khyber Pakhtunkhwa will not alter norms of tribal residents but will steer a new age of progress.

Premier announced plans to construct Mahmond Dam which will he said will not only produce electricity but also will dampen the infertile land.

PM vowed to boost the tourism potential of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, acknowledging the reduction of poverty in the region was due to the tourism industry.

The Sehat Insaf Card holder will be entitled to Rs720,000 worth of medical facilities every year.
