PM Nawaz postpones Azad Kashmir visit due to bad weather

ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister (PM) Nawaz Sharif on Tuesday postponed his visit to Azad Kashmir’s Neelum Jhelum and Dana Kachilli areas due to bad weather.


Sources told that Nawaz Sharif was scheduled to visit Azad Kashmir to inspect the ongoing development projects in Neelum Jhelum and Dana Kachilli areas.

The premier was also going to give checques to the locals which were later distributed by Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) Azad Kashmir president Raja Farooq Haider.

Moreover, new dates of visit have not yet been announced.

Earlier talking to the Members of National Assembly, PM Nawaz Sharif said that some people want to remove the government from the way of progress through their unjustified criticism but will not gain success by doing so.

The premier said that China-Pakistan Economic Corridor will bring economic revolution in the country and will change the destiny of nation.

He said the government is focusing on completion of power projects to end energy crisis.

The MNAs who met the Prime Minister included Babar Nawaz Khan, Muhammad Saqlain Bukhari and Malik Sultan Mahmood.
