PMLN decries, PPP suggests restraint, PTI yet to respond on SC verdict in Disqualification Duration Case

ISLAMABAD: State Minister for Information Marriyum Aurangzeb remarked the Supreme Court judgment in Disqualification Duration Case as a conspiracy against former ousted Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif.

Giving her response on Friday to the media, the state minister asserted that the tenure of disqualification will be determined by the masses, not by the courts.

She also remarked “The verdict has started a phase of Nawaz’s politics which our enemies should be afraid of,” the information minister added.

However, the opposition leader in the National Assembly Khursheed Shah suggested Nawaz to accept the verdict and should not involve himself in the confrontation mode with the apex court.

Veteran Politician Sheikh Rasheed appreciated the verdict while talking to the NewsOne saying decision will be acceptable for everyone.

It is pertinent to mention that Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf is yet to respond on the verdict, as it has also affected its stalwart Jahangir Tareen, who was disqualified by the Supreme Court in December 2017 for hiding his offshore company.
