PM’s 16 member federal cabinet sworn in

ISLAMABAD: Federal cabinet consists of 21 members – endorsed by Prime Minister Imran Khan – was sworn in at President House on Monday.

President Mamnoon Hussain administered the oath to the federal cabinet. Newly-elected Premier Imran Khan also attended the ceremony.

The cabinet includes 16 ministers and five advisers. The five advisers are Mohammad Shehzad, Ishrat Hussain, Abdul Razzak Dawood, Amin Aslam and Babar Awan.

Following the cabinet meeting, the premier met with Chairman Joint Chiefs of Staff Committee General Zubair Mahmood Hayat at PMO.

Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf’s (PTI) Asad Umar, Shireen Mazari, Ghulam Sarwar Khan, Fawad Chaudhry, Aamir Mehmood Kiyani, Shah Mehmood Qureshi, Pervez Khattak, Shafqat Mehmood, Khusro Bakhtiar are among those handed portfolios.

The five advisers are Mohammad Shehzad, Ishrat Hussain, Abdul Razzak Dawood, Amin Aslam and Babar Awan.
