PPP announces to hit the streets against govt over Musharraf’s departure


ISLAMABAD: Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) has announced to protest against government s decision on Musharraf case on Sunday as Chairman PPP Bilawal Bhutto Zardari has called for countrywide protests and has also directed to prepare for Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto’s death anniversary.


Senator Farhatullah Babar and PPP senior leader Nargis Faiz participated in a protest arranged in front of press club and criticized government’s decision over Musharraf s departure.

Workers of PPP also arranged a rally from Soosan Road to District Council chowk. Participants of the rally blocked the road and protested against the government over the decision of Musharraf’s departure.

On the other hand, in a meeting headed by Bilawal Bhutto, he has announced to observe Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto’s death anniversary and called for a rally in Garhi KhudaBakhsh on April 4.

A three member committee has also been formed under the supervision of Sindh’s Senior Minister Nisar Khurho in this regard.

PIA and other national issues were also discussed in the meeting.

Moreover, Bilawal has also directed the leaders to start Election 2018 preparations, boost up political activities in the country and demonstrate zero tolerance against corruption by the rulers.
