PPP in touch with opposition on Panama leaks issue: Kaira

ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) Secretary Information Qamar Zaman Kaira brushed aside media reports that PPP President Asif Ali Zardari was scheduled to meet Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif in London.

Prime Minister Sharif is in London for a long over-due medical treatment. Opposition leaders Imran Khan and Asif Zardari are also present in the British capital.

“Neither Zardari sahab is in contact with Mian sahab (Prime Minister) nor any political meeting is on agenda,” Kaira told media persons in Islamabad.

Kaira added PPP has dissolved all of its sub committees to reorganize the party.

“PPP is the party of political workers. Bilawal Bhutto Zardari is contacting his workers to seek their opinion about the changes,” Kaira stated.

To a question, he said that PPP was in touch with opposition parties on the issue of Panama documents.
