KARACHI: Muttahida Qaumi Movement(MQMP) leader Khalid Maqbool Siddiqui lambasted Pakistan People’s Party leadership for neglecting the ‘Mahajir’ community in their Sunday jalsa (Political gathering)held in Liaqtuabad.
On Tuesday, addressing the press conference at MQM bahadarabad faction, Khalid lamented that the PPP did not announce any constructions of hospitals, schools for the people of Liaqtuabad, adding the latter pursued the language of hate.
“We were expecting PPP to embrace us, but they used the language of hate “, said MQM(P) leader.
He also alleged PPP for showing prejudice against the Majahir community, saying that it was the same party which brought the slogan of ” Idhar hum aur Udhar tum”, also claiming that once the federal party, now is confined to rural Sindh only.
On Sunday the Pakistan People’s Party held for the first time after 44 years, the political rally at what is considered to the MQM stronghold, Liaqtubad.
While addressing, PPP Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari claimed that the PPP ended the tyranny committed by the MQM in the past, while combatting target killers.
Since that day, both former allies in federal government, and provincial government are exchanging hot words, alleging each other of showing failure in their respective department.
