KARACHI: Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) on Monday has decided to participate in All Parties Conference summoned by Jamiat Ulema Islam-F leader Maulana Fazlur Rehman on October 31.
“PPP has decided to attend APC, scheduled on Wednesday (October 31),” said PPP chairman Bilawal.
According to sources, JUI-f chief Fazlur Rehman failed to convince Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz supreme leader Nawaz Sharif to attend the All Parties Conference.
The JUI-F chief on Sunday met the former prime minister at the latter’s resident in Jati Umrah as part of his efforts to unite the opposition.
Earlier, PPP co-chairman Asif Ali Zardari had agreed to attend the APC hosted by Maulana Fazl and said he was also willing to meet Nawaz.
