Present rulers have broken Asif Ali Zardari’s record: Imran Khan

PESHAWAR: Lashing out at the federal government for violently handling the protesting PIA employees in Karachi, Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan on Wednesday stated that present rulers have become ‘dictators’ as instead of addressing reservations of the protestors, the authorities tried to ‘bulldoze’ them.

Talking to media after the ground breaking ceremony of Peshawar Zoo, Imran Khan said the rulers don’t know anything about democracy. They are production of dictatorship.

He said that Pervez Musharraf’s era was less harder than the PML-N’s present rule.

To a question, Khan said the country has been engulfed by joblessness and the present rulers have broken former president Asif Ali Zardari’s record.

The PTI chief announced that he will participate in the anti-government protest on February 6 from Karachi or Islamabad.

Earlier today, addressing a gathering at the ground breaking ceremony of Peshawar Zoo, Khan said this project is a necessity in the city for kids and families.

“When we start investing on our people, that’s called real tabdeeli (change),” he added.

Reportedly, Peshawar Zoo will be open for public by Eid-Ul-Azha.

Twenty nine acres of land has been allotted for the zoo which will be completed at the total cost of Rs128.968.
