KARACHI: Former Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaaf (PTI) founding member Fauzia Kasuri who announced to quit party on Wednesday has joined Pak Sarzameen party (PSP), Newsone reported on Thursday.
Fauzia Kasuri announced the decision in a press conference with Mustafa Kamal.
“PTI distracted from its manifesto, I don’t have any personal conflict with Imran Khan,” says former PTI leader Fauzia Kasuri.
PSP chairman Mustafa Kamal welcomed Fauzia Kasuri in PSP and claimed that PSP has become promising party of Pakistan in just 2 years.
Fauzia Kasuri was of the view that Mustafa Kamal and Anees Qaimkhani were the brave ones who fought against terrorism and lies.
On Wednesday in a letter to PTI chief she stated that: “You opted to hand over the reins of the party to those electables we fought against since our inception,” she wrote in her resignation letter. “At the cost of workers, who in some cases, laid down their lives for the cause.”
She further mentioned that is is impossible for her to defend the recent decision of PTI.
She wished PTI chief Imran Khan best of luck for future and reminded him to bring the change as he had promised, in case if he makes it to the Centre.
“I wish you the best of luck in the future and hope that if you are granted an opportunity to form the national government, you shall strive to bring about the change you once promised,” she wrote in the conclusion of paragraph.
Hours after her letter of resignation, PTI chairman Imran Khan accepted the resignation and expressed his best wishes to former PTI leader Fauzia Kasuri.
