Rasheed brushes aside Bilawal claims regarding NAP


ISLAMABAD: Minister for Information and Broadcasting Pervaiz Rasheed has said Pakistan Muslim League (PML-N) has created consensus against terrorism and achieved eighty percent success in the National Action Plan (NAP).


In an interview, he said Chief Minister Sindh Syed Qaim Ali Shah himself acknowledged success of the National Action Plan.

Rasheed said the international community has also supported it.

Earlier, While addressing a rally at Garhi Khuda Bakhsh to mark the 8th death anniversary of Benazir Bhutto, Bilawal said the the federal government is using the NAP to attack provinces.

“This is not the NAP agreed to by all parties, this is the N-league action plan, whose target is political opponents.”

Bilawal said politics of revenge had resurfaced, with allegations of terrorism being hurled at the PPP once again.
