Security forces eliminate five hideouts in Dera Bugti operation


DERA BUGTI: Security forces have eliminated five hideouts of miscreants during intelligence-based operations in different areas of Balochista’s Dera Bugti district today (Friday).


According to security sources, explosives and other belongings of the miscreants were also destroyed during the operation.

Sources told that heavy weapons including two rifles, two Russian rockets, three walkie-talkies , bullets and 40 kilograms of explosives were also recovered in Toba Nohaqqani area.

Balochistan, Pakistan’s largest but most impoverished province, is also home to a raging insurgency that has claimed the lives of hundreds of soldiers and militants since it re-ignited in 2004, with rebels often attacking government installations and personnel.
