KARACHI: Sindh High Court (SHC) on Thursday while ordering to remove billboards from Shahrah-e-Faisal, FTC and other residential areas sought a report in 15 days.
A two-member bench presided over by justice Hassan Rizvi heard a constiotutional plea, stating that large number signs boards and billboards have displayed in the areas of Shahrah-e-Faisal and FTC despite Supreme Court’s (SC) orders.
It said that the boards are not only causing life threats to the citizens but also dooming metropolis’ beauty.
The plaintiff urged the authorities to order early removal of the billboards.
Subsequently, justice Hassan Rizvi sought a report in 15 days and directed to remove the advertising stuff from the residential areas.
