Shehbaz Sharif announces to serve Imran Khan a legal notice

ISLAMABAD: Punjab Chief Minister Shehbaz Sharif said that he would file a defamation sue against PTI Chairman Imran Khan for leveling “baseless allegations of corruption”

Sharif’s response came hours after Imran Khan accused Shehbaz Sharif of indulging in corruption through his middleman namely Javed Sadiq, a charge he rejected.

“Opponents could not prove corruption of single penny by his team,” he said, adding that he would take Imran Khan to court.

“This is a big lie. Javed Sadiq is being called my front-man. I also meet European and Chinese investors for the sake of Pakistan,” he said.

Sharif said that he would quit politics if he was found guilty of corruption by any court.

“If corruption allegations are proven right, my kids should also be punished,” he demanding, adding that he won’t respond to Imran Khan’s allegations anymore.
