Shehbaz Sharif’s son summoned in Assets beyond means case on Wednesday

LAHORE: The National Accountability Bureau has summoned Salman Shehbaz, son of former chief minister Punjab Shehbaz Sharif in assets beyond means case.

According to details, Salman has been asked to appear before NAB on October 10 in a case pertaining to accumulation of assets more than known sources of income.

Last week the National Accountability Bureau (NAB) arrested former chief minister of Punjab, Pakistan Muslim League (Nawaz) president Shehbaz Sharif in ‘Ashiana Housing Scandal Scheme’

The PML (N) president and former Punjab chief minister Shehbaz Sharif  was arrested as he appeared before the NAB headquarters in Lahore pertaining to Saaf Pani case.

The accountability watchdog had alleged that Shehbaz Sharif had misused his authority during his tenure as Punjab chief minister and was involved in corruption.

Shahbaz’s blue-eyed officers, Lahore Development Authority former director general Ahad Cheema and Fawad Hasan Fawad, are already in NAB custody in the Ashiana Housing case.

On Saturday, an accountability court granted the  anti-graft body—-National Accountability Bureau (NAB), a 10-day physical remand of opposition leader, former Punjab Chief Minister and Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) President Shehbaz Sharif in the Ahsiana Iqbal Housing Scheme case.
