Sindh being deprived of constitutional rights: Khurshid Shah


SUKKUR: Opposition leader in National Assembly Syed Khurshid Shah has alleged that the federal government is depriving the Sindh of its constitutional rights, adding that the Sindh situation could also affected the federal government.


Talking to newsmen, he held the prime minister responsible for current crisis, saying that the prime minister should not remain silent and intervene to solve the constitutional crisis in the country.

He said that the prime minister was going to meet chief minister Sindh on December 28, but the interior ministry issued notification about Rangers powers without waiting for the meeting.

He said that the prime minister has been informed about the reservation of the Sindh. He said that Dr Asim case is already in anti-terrorism court.

To a question about Modi visit, the PPP leader welcomed the visit and said that the prime minister should take the parliament and nation into confidence over his talks with Modi.
