Sindh government devises strategy to replace IG Sindh, again

Karachi: The Sindh government on Tuesday wrote a letter to the establishment division as they are again planning efforts to replace Inspector General of Police (IGP) AD Khawaja.


In a Letter it was suggested to federal government to replace AD Khawaja and requested centre to appoint one of the three officials suggested by the Sindh government.

According to a letter, Sardar Abdul Majeed Dasti, Ghulam Qadir Thebo, and Kaleem Imam have been suggested as the replacements of the incumbent IG Sindh.

The Sindh High Court (SHC) in September last year dismissed the provincial government’s order removing Khawaja as the province’s police chief and ordered that he continue on his post till his due term.
