Siraj accuses India for attack on Bacha Khan University

CHARSADDA: Jamaat-e-Islami (JI) chief Siraj-ul-Haq said there was no doubt India was involved in the massacre of Charsadda, when militants attacked the Bacha Khan University on Wednesday morning.


The Jamaat–e-Islami chief visited Charsadda District Hospital to inquire about the health of the injured. Talking to media personnel, Siraj said there was no doubt India had a hand in the incident.

“Had the National Action Plan been followed, this attack would not have taken place,” he said.

Terrorists had attacked the Bacha Khan University in Charsadda on Wednesday morning, killing 21 people and injuring several. The attack was condemned by everyone across the board in Pakistan and law enforcement personnel were called in to rescue the stranded students and clear the university from terrorists.
