Six civilians injured due to Indian provocation at LOC

Six civilians including four children and one woman were injured on Friday due to another ceasefire violation by India at the Line of Control (LOC), said Inter-Services public Relations (ISPR).


Indian troops resorted to firing at residential area of Chirikot Sector near LOC and Pakistan responded befittingly by targeting their check posts resulting in deaths of five Indian soldiers and many were also injured, said ISPR. The injured were shifted to nearest hospital for medical aid, ISPR further added.

Shabnam W/O Raqeeb Hussain Shah, age 35 years-Kashan S/O Raqeeb Hussain Shah, age 13 years-Faizan S/O Raqeeb Hussain Shah, age 6 years-Nisah D/O Shafique, age 14 years-Asifa D/O Shafique, age 10 years, residents of village Serian and- Shahid Hussain S/O Muhammad Hussain, age 28 years, resident of village Chafar included the injured.

India on Tuesday resorted to unprovoked firing at Rakh Chakri area of the Rawalkot sector due to which three Pakistani soldiers embraced martyrdom and one was injured.

In the continuing wave of ceasefire violation by India within 48 to 72 hours, an 18-year old boy embraced martyrdom while three women were injured.

The martyred soldiers, Subedar Muhammad Riaz from Jhang, Lance Havaldar Azizullah from Noshero Feroz and Sepoy Shahid Mansib from Abbottabad were buried with military honor.
