ISLAMABAD: The Supreme Court (SC) on Wednesday has directed the National Accountability Bureau (NAB) to open up and extract all financial information available on Ex- President of Pakistan, Asif Ali Zardari pertaining to his alleged monetary wealth in Switzerland in the ongoing purge against corruption in Pakistan.

On Tuesday, a three-member bench of the Supreme Court headed by Chief Justice of Pakistan Mian Saqib Nisar has directed former Presidents Asif Ali Zardari, Pervez Musharraf and others to submit their asset details.

The directions were given during a hearing of NRO cases in Islamabad.

The bench had directed the concerned people to present an affidavit before the court about their domestic and foreign properties.

NAB expressed their reservations with regards to Zardari’s swiss cases due to binding conditions mentioned in the NRO.
