Karachi: Temperature is likely to hit 40 degree Celsius in Karachi today (Sunday), the Pakistan Metrological Department (PMD) informed.
According to Director PMD Shahid Abbas, heat is expected to rise in Karachi to 38 degree Celsius to 40 degree Celsius.
“The change of direction of the sea waves is the reason behind expected rise in temperature,” he said.
“Two tropical cyclones are expected to form in the Arabian Sea and the Bay of Bengal,” said Met department.
Local administration has also advised the residents to take precautionary measure while going out.
The metropolis is likely to receive showers after the hot spell ends.
