Three FC personnel martyred in Mastung suicide attack

QUETTA: Three security personnel were martyred, two others injured in a suicide attack at FC check post in Mastung area of  Balochistan, Newsone reported.


According to details, the suicide bombing took place near Aziz Frontier Corps checkpoint. Rescue teams have reached the site immediately and shifted the causalities to Ghous Bakhsh hospital.

The martyred soldiers have been identified as Sub Inspector Munir Jan, Sepoy Ahmed Jan and Sepoy Parwez, while Sepoys Nasir and Irshad were injured.

Earlier in May, Law enforcement agencies (LEAs) foiled major terrorist attack at Frontier Corps Madadgar center near Chaman housing scheme in Quetta.

According to Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), five terrorist tried to the centre with a explosive laden vehicle, but the immediate action from security forces have killed all the militants and cleared the compound.

In May, security forces killed a high-value target of banned terror outfit Lashkar-e-Jhangvi (LeJ), along with two other terrorists, involved in the killings of more than 100 innocent people of Hazara community and police personnel.

Colonel Sohail Abid of Military Intelligence embraced shahadat while 4 soldiers got injured.

On Feb 28, four security personnel were martyred in a result of suicide attack near Quetta. The explosion took place in Khooni Talab area on the outskirts of the provincial capital.

The attack, targeting a Frontier Corps and Levies camp, also injured six personnel of FC.
