Three terrorists arrested by FC, agencies in Balochistan’s Mand

MAND: Frontier Corps (FC) and intelligence agencies have arrested three terrorists in a joint operation.


According to an FC spokesperson, security agencies conducted an operation in Dasht area and apprehended three operatives of a banned outfit.

Huge cache of weapons, communication equipment, binoculars and military uniforms were seized from their possession.

Earlier on February 11, Frontier Corps and police arrested ten suspects and seized weapons from their possession.

Corps spokesperson had said that two rifles were seized from suspects’ possession.

The arrested persons were given in custody of Balochistan Police for interrogation.

On February 8, as many as 19 Afghans including nine members of banned outfit were arrested from Quetta in a search operation led by Frontier Corps in collaboration of intelligence agencies.

An FC spokesperson had said that security forces conducted a raid in Kali Kamalu area and arrested nine suspects whereas 10 illegal Afghan migrants were detained from Ittehad Colony and Kali Mubarik.

FC personnel recovered two rifles and two pistols during the search operation.
