TuQ announces protests from 17th January, “Will take resignations rather than asking for them”

Islamabad: The steering committee formed under the supervision of Tahir Ul Qadri with regards to the Model Town Massacre announces end of the allotted time to the present government to meet their demands on the issue.


The deadline given to Rana SanaUllah and Shehbaz Sharif is here, said the leader of Pakistan Awami Tehreek Tahir Ul Qadri, We will now start public demonstrations starting from January 17 till we take resignations from Rana Sana and Shehbaz Sharif, We will not ask for their resignations now, rather we will take them.

“It’s time for the Government to go”, added Qadri.

We have formed an action committee to overlook the matter, their first meeting is scheduled for 11 January, This movement will not cease till the end of PML-N’s government, Qadri reiterated.

He also mentioned the Khatm e Nabuwwat issue, the people who tried to exploit the finality of prophet hood issue will not be spared, we wanted to sort things out amicably but the government has left us no other option.
