KARACHI: Two people died and four were injured on Sunday in a blast at a CNG station near Powerhouse Chowrangi, North Karachi.
The manager of the station along with two other people were dead while the owner and co-manager were injured, said the police.
Police said the injured were taken to the Burn Ward of Jinnah Hospital.
Sindh Chief Minister Murad Ali Shah, while taking notice of the incident, has asked Commissioner Karachi to submit a report of the incident.
CM spokesperson asked, “When was the last time the station was inspected? Was the compressor at the CNG station expired or new?.” CM has instructed to provide adequate medical attention to the injured.
