Two student groups clashed in Punjab University over ‘Cultural Festival’

LAHORE: Two groups have clashed in Punjab’s university over a cultural event on Monday.


According to Media reports one group of the Students attacked the other group for pioneering festival in Electrical Engineering Festival.

The student torched the chemical laboratory using batons and pelting stones,  also causing damage to windows and car parked in University premises.

Following clash, a group of student held a sit-in in front of the Vice Chancellor office demanding actions against the perpetrators for pioneering cultural event.

However sources confide that the clash was between Islami Jamiat Taleba and Baloch-Pashtun students; meanwhile not confirmed that which group initiated the clash.
