Will continue to struggle for sanctity of vote, vows Nawaz in stronghold of Chaudhry brothers

GUJRAT: Former PM Nawaz Sharif on Sunday has vowed to continue his fight for the sanctity of the people’s vote.


Addressing a public gathering in Gujrat, Nawaz said that Pakistan Muslim League (PML-N) will win from Kotla and sweep Gujrat in next general elections.

He said that PML-N was barred to contest senate elections despite of it N-league outclassed everyone in senate elections.

Former PM Nawaz said PML-N candidates Senate papers were rejected as it had his signature as the president of the PML-N, adding that then shutdown all power plants, motorways as it had Nawaz Sharif’s signature.

“In this manner, the electricity plants all Airports, motorways and other several other things should also be shut down as they have my signature,” he remarked.

While commenting over next general elections Nawaz was optimism about his party to sweep general elections 2018, adding that there is no allegation of corruption against him.

It is pertinent to mention here that PML-N had won 15 seats of senate out of 52 seats and likely to make it to Senate chairman as being the major party with total of 48 seats.

Former prime minister’s daughter Maryam Nawaz also earlier addressed the gathering, saying “Power and rule do not remain forever, fear Allah,” she said.
