Will not let country commit economic suicide: Bilawal

LAHORE: Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) chairperson Bilawal Bhutto Zardari said on Sunday will not let Pakistan commit economic suicide and will stop public unfriendly budget as well.


Speaking in a press conference after meeting Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) leader Maryam Nawaz at Jati Umra, the PPP chairperson vowed to continue public contact campaign, saying will convey party’s message to the public to save it from the tsunami of inflation.

Bilawal said he will meet the Jammat-e-Islami-Fazl (JUI-F) chief Maulana Fazlur Rahman in Islamabad besides meeting other political parties to unite against the government. He called the incumbent government ‘puppet government’ which will be accountable to the public.

Bilawal said there will be a gathering celebrating the birthday of former prime minister Benazir Bhutto in Nawabshah, after which, PPP chairperson announced, an anti-government campaign will be initiated.

Bilawal said he is contacting the government’s allied parties to bring them on board for the campaign against the government.
