Zeeshan Butt Murder Case: SC gives Punjab police 4 days time to nab all accused

LAHORE:  Chief Justice of Pakistan Mian Saqib Nisar is hearing a suo motu case over the killing of Zeehsan Butt, a journalsit who was murdered  at Sialkot.


Chief Justice is hearing the case at Lahore Supreme Court’s registry, as the apex court had summoned the report from Inspector General Punjab Arif Nawaz, who today informed that the suspects are absconding, sought one week time to arrest them.

However, CJP dismissed the request of imparting a week time to arrest culprits, further inquired the links of main suspects with any party?

The IG Punjab replied that all the accused belong from Pakistan Muslim League(Nawaz), will be nabbed soon, as their names are placed on Exit Control List(ECL).

The Court then relieved the Punjab Police 4 days time to arrest all accused.
