First Play Off: Karachi Kings set a target of 155 runs for Islamabad United to chase down

DUBAI: Karachi Kings has set the target of 155 runs against Islamabad United in all this important match that would determine that which team will directly go to the Final of Pakistan Super League, which will be played in Karachi on March 24th, 2018.

Islamabad United are without captain Misbah-ul-Haq, who is out of cricket action due to a hairline fracture in his wrist.

South Africa’s JP Duminy is leading the side in Misbah’s absence. Sahibzada Farhan is in for Misbah, Samit Patel for Steven Finn, Mohammad Sami for Zafar Gohar, and Luke Ronchi for Chadwick Walton.

Karachi Kings are unchanged. Shahid Afridi is playing today, despite an injury scare earlier when he was reported to be suffering from knee pain and swelling.

Both the teams are playing against each other in the first play off in Dubai Cricket Stadium, however both PSL franchises are still in the competition if any side looses.

The scenario is  that the defeated team in today’s match will still have a chance to make it to the Finals, if it emerges victorious in the 3 rd play off with the winner team of the 2nd play off.

But why wait for the third Play off, let’s get the Job done today, as both teams are thirsty to make their way to the final by just emphatic win.
