Army Chief inaugurates new CMH Rawalpindi blocks: ISPR

RAWALPINDI: The Army Chief General Qamar Javed Bajwa on Tuesday inaugurated new blocks of the Combined Military Hospital (CMH) Rawalpindi, said Pakistan Army media wing Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR).


According to ISPR, 1,150 beds will be added to the hospital after addition of new blocks which can serve both military and civil medical needs. ISPR added that modern tools will increase abilities of CMH.

The Out Patient Department (OPD) of CMH can serve up to 5,000 patients, said ISPR, adding that the construction of the new blocks started in 2013.
