Army Chief visits Central Ordinance Depot Rawalpindi: ISPR

RAWALPINDI: The Chief of Army Staff (COAS) Qamar Javed Bajwa on Tuesday visited Central Ordinance Depot in Rawalpindi, the Pakistan Army media wing Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) said.


COAS inspected different parts of the depot and the combat equipment, said ISPR.

COAS appreciated the officials of Central Ordnance Depot (COD) for reviving obsolete equipment and safeguarding stocks for optimum use in view of reducing the burden on the national exchequer, according to the press release.

COAS visited various facilities and infrastructures of the depot handling a vast range of specialised equipment and clothing items for Army, said ISPR.

COAS  was accompanied by the Chief of Logistics Staff Lt Gen Azhar Saleh Abbasi.

COAS inaugurates APS in Kob Lines Rawalpindi

COAS on Tuesday inaugurated new campus of the Army Public School in Kob Lines area of Rawalpindi, said ISPR.

Around 1200 students can study in the campus, added ISPR.
